6 hour childbirth education class

Classes consist of lecture, demonstration, videos and include topics such as

  • Pregnancy anatomy

  • Pregnancy health and how to adapt to changes

  • Signs, Stages and Emotions in Labor

  • Understanding Evidence based care and consent

  • Pain Management Techniques including breathing, relaxation, position choices, massage, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy

  • Pain Medication Options

  • Understanding Medical Interventions

  • Cesarean Birth and Prevention

  • Postpartum Health

  • Breastfeeding introduction

  • Hospital bag checklist


Classes are offered as two 3 hour sessions and are held in Hudson County, NJ
